Keeping to the theme, the Retro95 has a beige color finish and horizontal layout chassis, but that is pretty much where retro ends, as it comes with all the latest hardware, including AMD and Intel CPUs, Nvidia's RTX 5080 graphics card, up to 96GB of memory, and 8TB of NVMe storage space. The Maingear Retro95 is fitted with Noctua fans to keep the temperature down, and has even hidden the modern front I/O panel.
"This one is for the gamers who lugged CRTs to LAN parties, swapped out disks between levels, and got their gaming news from magazines. The Retro95 drop is our way of honoring the classic era of gaming, with a system that looks like the one you had as a kid, but runs like the monster you'd spec from MAINGEAR today," said Wallace Santos, MAINGEAR CEO and founder.
Starting at $1,599, the Retro95 is available exclusively at www.MAINGEAR.com starting July 23, 2025, as part of a limited drop.
