In addition to adding support for the Geforce RTX 5070 graphics card, which launched today at $549, the new Geforce 572.70 WHQL driver also adds Game Ready support with DLSS 4 support for FragPunk game, and DLSS and ray tracing support update for Grand Theft Auto V.
In case you missed it, the Geforce RTX 5070 is Nvidia's latest Geforce RTX 50 series graphics card, which packs 48 SMs or 6,144 CUDA cores and comes with 12GB of 28Gbps GDDR7 memory. According to Nvidia, this is a 20 percent boost in traditional raster performance, compared to the RTX 4070 at least, and has an ability to play ray-traced games at over 120 FPS.
The new driver also fixes an issue where the PC may boot to a black screen when connected via DisplayPort with certain monitors.
As always, you can download the latest driver over at the Geforce.com driver page.
