Sony's recently launched Playstation 3 is about to get a little better. Sony UK has officially confirmed that it will launch a 250GB version in October, practically doubling the Slim's storage.

However, at launch it will only be available with 3 bundles. The first one will come on October 1, and will include a copy of Infamous or two Platinum titles. On October 16 it will be joined by a bundle sporting Uncharted 2: Amongst Thieves.

Movie lovers should hold out until October 19, when you'll be able to pick up a bundle including X-Men Origins: Wolverine and Batman: The Dark Knight on Blu-ray, and a remote control.

All three bundles will sell for £285 in Blighty. We still don't have US or EU pricing.
