Sonnet has released its Aria Extreme-n 802.11n wireless mini-PCIe card. Retail priced at US$129.95, the card works with Macs that shipped from the factory with 802.11g networking.

It replaces the AirPort Extreme card that comes with the Mac Pro, MacBook, MacBook Pro and Intel-based iMac and Mac mini systems. Some of these systems shipped without any wireless networking ability.

Customers will have to buy and install a copy of Apple's AirPort Extreme 802.11n Enable from Apple.
