While the Pro Click V2 features a more conventional ergonomic design with a 30-degree tilt, aimed at users who prefer a more traditional mouse form, the Pro Click V2 Vertical is designed to compete directly with brands like Logitech, and others, which have been in this market for quite some time. It offers a 71.7-degree tilt for a natural handshake grip and a dedicated thumb rest. An extended base helps elevate the wrist to reduce strain during long use. Both models are tailored for productivity rather than gaming, diverging from Razer’s usual focus.
When it comes to features, both new mice share Razer’s Focus Pro Optical Sensor with up to 30,000 DPI sensitivity, 40G acceleration, and speeds of up to 550 inches per second. Each mouse also includes mechanical switches rated for up to 60 million clicks and tri-mode connectivity, with support for HyperSpeed Wireless (2.4GHz), Bluetooth for up to three devices, and USB-C wired connections. The Vertical version also comes with eight programmable buttons, while the standard one has nine. The Vertical also comes with 18 RGB lighting zones, while the standard model "only" comes with 14.
The battery life is rated for around six months on both models, and Razer was keen to note that both models support Razer’s AI Prompt Master tool for quick integration with platforms like ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot.
The Pro Click V2 Vertical is available now on Amazon for $119.99. The standard Pro Click V2 will be released exclusively via Razer’s online store for $100.
