The full branding
of Intel’s slowest dual-core Clarkdale based 32nm CPU is Core i3 530 and this
baby will work at 2.93GHz. Since the Pentium G6950 (Very ugly name edition) is a dual-core with no hyperthreading, all
Core i3 CPUs will have Hyperthreading and two cores with four threads support.
The CPU
comes with 4MB cache, support for DDR3 1066 and 1333 and its integrated IGP
works 733MHz. It will also support Intel clear video HD technology and it will
operate under 73W TDP envelope. This TDP is actually very good as it includes
CPU and graphics core, CPU itself should be around 60W it not even less.
Let’s not
forget that it fits in LGA1156 socket. It is interesting to mention that Core
i3 5x0 series won’t support Turbo overclocking while Core i3 6x0 will.
