As we said, Intel's 32nm Clarkdale CPU with a 45nm IGP will end up
with three brands, Core i5, Core i3 and Pentium and only one Pentium is planned
at launch in January.
The SKU is called Pentium G6950 and this one will work at
2.8GHz and comes with 3MB of cache. It supports two threads as it has two cores,
while Core i3 supports four threads and 4MB cache.
Pentium branded 32nm Clarkdale is also limited to 1066 memory
and its IGP will work at 533MHz. The TDP of this baby is 73W and it should cost
around €75 when it launches early next year. The slowest Core i3 Clarkdale with
four threads will sell for just under €100.
