Panasonic’s new Eluga handset is set to launch in Europe in April and the Japanese market will get its first taste of Panasonic’s stylish Android phone on Mach 29. However, a quick glance at out price search engine reveals that European retailers expect to start shipping the Eluga in the last week of April, so we are still more than a month away.
Although Panasonic is a newcomer to the Android party, the Eluga seems like a pretty nifty little phone. It features a 4.3-inch 960x540 screen, dual core TI OMAP 4430 processor at 1GHz, 8GB of storage and 8MP camera, all packed in a sleek water and dust resistant body. It measures 123x62x7.8mm and weighs in at just 103g.

The asking price is €399 and if you still want more, Panasonic is planning to introduce the Eluga Power, powerhouse with a 5-inch 720p screen and 1.5GHz processor, but we still don't have a launch date for the Power. For the time being the Eluga will launch with Gingerbread, but an ICS update is promised for the summer.
