Based on the Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon platform, the new HTC Rhyme features Scorpion 1GHz single-core processor paired up with Adreno 205 GPU and 768MB of RAM. The HTC Rhyme will run on Android 2.3 OS backed by HTC's own Sense UI 3.5. It features a 3.7-inch WVGA (800x480) capacitive touchscreen display, 4GB of internal storage paired up with microSD card slot (8GB card included), a 5 megapixel rear and front VGA camera, 802.11bgn WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, HSDPA and a 1600mAh battery.
The HTC Rhyme will ship with earphones, Bluetooth headset, docking station and a "charm cable" that has a cube, which lights up when message or call is received.
Europe should get the Rhyme in October while the US Verizon should have it as of tomorrow with a US $200 price tag with a 2 year contract. We managed to dig out the European price that should be €479 without contract.
