A few days ago, Samsung’s new smartphone model i325 ACE started selling on Sprint’s Website. It runs on Windows Mobile 6 Standard OS; its dimensions are 118 x 58 x 13mm and weighs 110 grams. It packs a 1,3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth and microSD slot supporting up to 2GB.
The display is 2,3-inch with resolution of 320 x 240. This model is somewhat reminiscent of Samsung’s Blackjack series.
What’s really special about this device is dual-mode functionality. It will run on CMDA/EVDO in America and GSM/GPRS in roaming. Working frequencies are 800/1900MHz for CDMA networks and 900/1800MHz GSM for GSM networks.
If you sign a two-year contract with Sprint, this phone will set you back US$199.99.
