According to Samsung, the new PM830 series is capable of delivering sequential read and write speeds of up 500 and 350MB/s and will feature 256-bit AES encryption. As noted, the drives use 20nm 32Gb MLC NAND memory chips, SATA 6Gbps interface and will be available in 128, 256 and 512GB capacities.
For now, Samsung targets premium OEM notebooks and tablets with this line although it isn't excluded that we might see these in retail/e-tail. Of course, as they are currently limited to OEMs, Samsung didn't reveal the price.
