In addition to the new Obsidian 700D case that will most likely be the crown jewel of its CeBIT showcase, Corsair has announced a second version of its Padlock flash drive.

The previous Padlock was neat, but it lacked, what we like to call, a Corsair touch. The new Padlock 2 uses the same principle of a PIN number that locks the drive, but this time it looks like Corsair's well-known Voyager drive, rather than the box-like design of the first Padlock.

The drive uses 256-bit hardware encryption that unlocks the data only after typing the correct PIN number on a built-in keypad. It has 8GB of space and as mentioned, features a rubberized design, just like all Voyager flash drives.

The new Padlock 2 is backed by ten years of warranty and has a price of around US $60. It is already listed in the EU and can be found for as low as €41.68.
