Updated: Shows ray tracing in DIRT 5 and Godfall

AMD has confirmed that its RNDA2-based Radeon RX 6000 series graphics cards will support ray tracing in existing titles, which was not a big surprise considering we had a chance to see it do ray tracing in two games, DIRT 5 and Godfall.

Full AIO liquid cooler as well

With the upcoming launch of AMD's Ryzen 5000 series CPUs as well as Radeon RX 6000 series graphics cards, EKWB has prepared a rather neat surprise, teasing full AMD themed blocks, including a full AMD liquid cooling kit, and an AIO Radeon RX 6800/6900 cooler.

As expected, AMD has held its Big Navi event announcing its first RDNA2-based Radeon RX 6000 series cards, including the RX 6800, RX 6800XT, and the flagship Radeon RX 6900XT. In addition to performance and power efficiency improvements, the RDNA2-based RX 6000 series cards will bring some new improvements like the Infinity Cache, Smart Access Memory, DirectX 12 Ultimate support, and more.

After the initial leak earlier this week, a full set of details for the entire upcoming Radeon RX 6000 series has found its way online, detailing a total of four SKUs, including the flagship RX 6900 XT which could be an AMD exclusive.

Possible Big Navi does good, might be trailing the RTX 3080

As usually happens, AMD's CEO, Dr. Lisa Su, took to the stage to wrap up the Ryzen 5000 series desktop CPU launch, and gave a quick teaser of what to expect from the upcoming Radeon RX 6000 graphics cards, showing the performance of the Radeon RX 6000 series card at 4K and in three games.

Nvidia had a rough start with its new RTX 3080, mostly due to scalpers, and it appears that AMD is looking not to make the same mistake.

Blower fan is gone for good

In a less surprising move, AMD has showcased its Radeon RX 6000 series graphics card in Fortnite game, but thankfully, it also found its way on Twitter and some members of the press had a chance to check out some other designs that AMD has prepared for its big launch.

Zen 3 on October 8th and RDNA 2 on October 28th

AMD has finally unveiled the date for its two big events scheduled for October, including a Zen 3 event on October 8th, and the RDNA 2/Radeon RX 6000 series event scheduled for October 28th.

7nm entry-level Navi 14 GPU

AMD has unveiled the new Radeon RX 5300 desktop graphics card, which is based on 7nm Navi 14 GPU and it should be identical to the RX 5300M mobile GPU.
