AMD's corporate vice president and general manager of client channel business, David McAfee, released a short tweet confirming the AMD Radeon RX 9000 series event for February 28 at 8 AM EST. The event will be live-streamed, and the announcement also confirms that the new graphics cards will be available in early March.

This lines up with previous rumors that the new Radeon RX 9070 XT and the Radeon RX 9070 graphics cards will be available on March 6th.
AMD detailed its RDNA 4 architecture at the event in January, and retailers/e-tailers have already received plenty of stock so AMD's new Radeon graphics cards could do well when they start selling. AMD has been playing cat and mouse with NVIDIA and its GeForce RTX 5070.
Hopefully, AMD has left a surprise or two for its event.
