According to the latest information coming from Uniko’s Hardware, caught by Videocardz.com, both the Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 will officially launch on March 6, 2025. Reviews for both cards are expected to be released sometime between the media event, which could take place by the end of this month, and the launch date.
The Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 will both be based on the same Navi 48 GPU, with differences primarily in clock speeds. Both are expected to compete with NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 5070 series graphics cards. Earlier rumors suggest that AMD has pushed the launch date from January 23rd in order to adjust pricing and gather stock at retail/e-tail shops.
Reviewers are said to have cards in their hands already and some retailers already confirmed healthy stock, so it might give AMD an upper hand, at least if AMD managed to get the performance and price right.
