Star Trek Online, a new MMO that should let its fans "engage" in a rather interesting space-placed gameplay, has shown its special pre-order deals which include both the one-year pass as well as the life time pass for those hard-core Star Trek fans.

The one-year pass for Star Trek Online can be found at Start Trek Online site with a US $119.99 (£73/€85) price tag, while the special lifetime subscription will set you back for an eye-watering US $239.99 (£146/€170). The one year deal gives you two additional character slots while the lifetime offer adds Borg as a playable race.

These prices might seem steep but considering the fact that the one month subscription costs US $14.99 (£8.99/€12.99) this actually looks like a great deal, especially if you are MMO and Star Trek fan at the same time. (I hear there are quite a few of those around. sub.ed.)
