Qualcomm and SSW Partners takeover looking stronger

Swedish automotive technology group Veoneer reported on Tuesday a narrower third-quarter loss amid a global chip shortage and said it would no longer provide an outlook as it focused on its looming merger.

Two months ago, Veoneer was still in talks with Magna to accept its acquisition offer of $31.25 per share in cash, however yesterday, Qualcomm and SSW Partners reached a definitive agreement to acquire Veoneer in an all-cash transaction valued at $37.00 per share.
