ASRock has announced three H55 boards for Intel's upcoming Clarkdale Core i7 and Core i5 LGA 1156 processors.
The H55M Pro and H55M are rather similar mATX boards with a somewhat different feature set. The Pro version has 4 DDR3 slots, 2 Firewire connectors, 1 eSATA port and ASRock DuraCap capacitors. The H55M has just two memory slots and no Firewire, but it offers 2 eSATA ports and all-solid capacitors. The rest of the spec is the identical, D-Sub, DVI, HDMI, 7.1 audio and ATI Crossfire support.
The H55DE3 is a full ATX board with 4 memory slots, all solid capacitors, 2 eSATA ports, D-Sub, DVI, HDMI and 7.1 audio.
All three boards feature a trial version of Creative's Sound Blaster X-Fi MB software, so users can upgrade the sound system at next to no cost.
