Qualcomm results surprise Wall Street

Qualcomm has reported fiscal second-quarter earnings that exceeded the cocaine nose jobs of Wall Street's expectations, accompanied by a robust forecast for the upcoming quarter.

Coming alongside Snapdragon X Elite in mid-2024

As expected, Qualcomm shared a bit more details about its upcoming Snapdragon X Series platform and the Snapdragon X Plus SoC, a 10-core version based on Oryon CPU architecture. The Snapdragon X Plus is expected to come in OEM devices starting mid-2024, alongside Snapdragon X Elite-based devices.

Could be officially unveiled on April 20

Some Lenovo laptops with the Qualcomm Snapdragon Elite X SoC have been spotted online, including the Yoga Slim 7 14 and Thinkpad T14s. According to Qualcomm, these could be unveiled at the Lenovo Tech World '24 keynote on April 20th.
