ASRock, the cheaper face of Asus has launched two ION-based nettops, where one comes with and the other without Blu-ray support.
The ION 330HT-BD and ION 330HT, as they're called, are built around the same set of components – Atom 330 CPU, Nvidia ION, 2GB of RAM, a 320GB 2.5'' hard drive with extra room for another 2.5'' one, 802.11n Wi-Fi, HDMI and VGA outs, powered SATA port and a Windows Media Center remote.
The main difference between these two is the Blu-ray combo drive, which isn't featured on the ION 330HT and has likely been replaced by a DVD burner.
The ION 330HT-BD is priced at $588.99 whereas the Blu-rayless ION 330HT stands at $458.99. Amazon specs list these nettops measuring 30.5cm x 22.9cm x 11.5cm (12 x 9 x 4.5 inches ) and weighing in at about 3 kilograms (7 pounds). Both devices seem to be available in black only, but the word "available" refers to the shipping period of "usually within 1 to 4 months", which in our book isn't quite the meaning of available.
You can find the ION 330HT-BD here, and the ION 330HT here.
