Avid Apple hacker MuscleNerd has managed to jailbreak the iPad just hours after it was formally introduced.

Basically MuscleNerd gained root access to the iPad while fanboys were still cuing in front of Apple stores across the US. He posted his exploits in a and the hack seems to be working just fine.

However, the details of the procedure have not been made public and it will probably be a few days or weeks before the general public gets its hands on it.
