Chrome eats away at Internet Explorer

Microsoft gets less popular
The latest figures show that Google's Web browser, Chrome is eating away at at Microsoft Internet Explorer's market share. According to Net Applications data Chrome took away 0.4 points from Microsoft.
Chrome had 5.6 per cent of the market which was an increase from 5.2 percent in January. Internet Explorer continued its crawling decline, from 62.1 percent to 61.6 percent. Mozilla Firefox dropped from 24.4 percent to 24.2 percent and Safari dropped from 4.5 percent to 4.4 percent, according to Net Applications. This is pretty much no change.
Microsoft does seem to be falling behind quickly in the browser market in the same way that it lost the ball in the mobile area.
