Apple getting business users

Buy my bridge
Apple is making the bizzare claim that there are people who are running mission critical networks and are buying Macs. Apple Chief Operating Officer Tim Cook said his company Apple is gaining business users, both with Mac computers and with the iPhone.
Cook said traditional chief information officers are changing the way they purchase computers and allowing employees to opt for Macs. He also said that 70 percent of Fortune 100 companies are testing iPhone deployment.
The statement is bizzare. It means that while they are recovering from a resession, companies are thinking of spending more than a third more to buy a spec and using an operating system that does not mesh with their legacy networks.
Not surprisingly tech hacks are having a hell of a job backing up Cook's claim. In fact there is good evidence to the contrary. The only place that Apple has control is on the design side and that has been the same for years.
