Danamics has announced yet another liquid metal based cooler that is cheaper than the previously announced LMX, the LMX Superleggera.
The new LMX Supperlegera is based on a similar design as the original LMX and should provide the same performance as the LMX, but at a much lower price tag and with PowerBooster 2.
It has a nickel-plated copper heatpipes/tubing and nickel-plated aluminium heatsink, supports all AMD socket AM2/AM2+/AM3 as well as Intel's socket 775/1156/1366 processors. It should provide the same performance as the first LMX and features Molex type smartplug for the new PowerBooster 2 which is now designed in a 3.5-inch form factor for easy mounting.
In case you missed the previous LMX, the PowerBooster is a device that powers the electro-magnetic pump which is needed for liquid metal circulation.
The best part of the new Danamics LMX Superleggera is its price which should be somewhere around €90 + VAT. Of course, this will depend on the retailer and the country as it is currently listed for around €120.
