?Back from the future? message flaw limited
Windows
Mobiles do not time travel
Microsoft claims that a bug in Windows Mobile which creates a temporal flux that allows SMS's to appear from the future only effects a small number of machines.
For a while users of Windows Mobile have been reporting getting SMS messages from the year 2016. Unfortunately the messages do not include anything useful like lottery numbers or football results. In fact more cynical people who do not believe in time travel might have just thought that the Operating system was just screwing up the date.
Redmond boffins have been investigating and worked out that the problem appears to be limited to HTC phones running on Sprint's network. Microsoft said that it is working with its partners to fix the problem. “Working with our partners” is usually a euphemism for “it is someone else's fault, but they are such a good customer that we don't want to annoy them by blaming them.”
Of course it does not explain why the bees are missing.
