Apple and Intel buy Imagination

You pay for what you are lacking
British outfit Imagination is being wooed by Intel and Apple. The outfit, which designs chips which are becoming attractive to mobile phone makers within the mobile arena, has been receiving large briefcases of cash from the two hardware makers.
Imagination Technologies has announced that Apple has now purchased 2.2 million of the company's shares in addition to the 8.2 million they had previously acquired back in December of 2008.
The purchase of those shares now means Apple owns a 9.5 percent stake in Imagination Technologies which are based in Hertfordshire England, although Apple is still somewhat behind Intel's stake in the company.
