Tommo has responded to SNK’s announcement that it was terminating its license agreement with the company. Quite simply, Tommo claims that it is not in breach of the contract and in fact the two companies had recently agreed to extend the agreement till 2016.

Tommo says that it has no intention of stopping the sales of the Neo Geo X Gold and the all of the accessories that go along with the unit in retail locations both physical and online. Tommo is demanding that SNK Playmore retract the press release and stop any attempts to terminate the licensing agreement that Tommo signed in good faith.

Tommo has confirmed that customers can still get warranty support and customer service directly from Tommo for the unit and all of its games. Tommo has also thanked the thousands of NeoGeo X fans who have supported the company and it wants fans to know that it will continue to support them.

With the amount of mud that is being slung on this one, we predict that it will not be settled anytime soon.
