Sent messages to woman and her father
Kothrud police have arrested a computer engineer for allegedly sending obscene messages through the Internet to a 22-year-old woman and her father.
Vishal Govind Hadavle of Erandwane was arrested after the woman lodged a complaint with the Cyber Crime Cell of Pune police. Hadavle, a neighbor of the complainant, has been sending obscene messages on the email address and mobile phone of the complainant and her father since January of this year.
The police said that Hadavle sent most of this offensive messages through a "Rediff Bol" messenger service. Hadayle has been jailed for two days while Police investigate the complaint further.
