In China, Foxconn had to install safety nets to stop those having to look at Apple gear constantly from throwing themselves off the plant’s high buildings. It may not have stopped them, but it did mean they bounced. Foxconn chairman Terry Guo, at a company event on February 18, said the company will focus on expanding its investments in Taiwan including New Taipei City, Taichung and Kaohsiung.
Foxconn is also in negotiations with the mayor of New Taipei City and will reconstruct its facilities in the city in the future. He failed to mention anything about Foxconn entering the Olympics trampoline competition using the new found skills of its employees.
