It has been reported that Acer has been pretty aggressive when it comes to snatching talented technicians from HTC, Asus and Pegatron. The company apparently looks to hire more manpower in order to introduce a quick fix for its software development.

Acer recruited a team of 30 HTC’s technicians back in 2009 in order to help it smartphone and tablet business. This is apparently not enough for a serious R&D team, which means that Acer will continue hiring.

Acer is offering some nice opportunities and many HTC, Asus and Pegatron technicians are allegedly ready to sign up. This prompted competitors to increase bonuses in order to attract their employees to stay. Well, ethics or no ethics – it seems like a win-win situation for the employees.
