China's foreign ministry
says that it will be investigating claims that its hackers penetrated into
government computer systems in Berlin.
The attacks were made using spy
software which had been built in China.
In a statement, the Foreign
ministry said that the government has always opposed and prohibited any
criminal activity that breaks down computer networks, including hacker
attacks. He said that China has clear rules and regulations on
this.
German weekly Der Spiegel reported the programmes could be traced
back to hackers from the Chinese People's Liberation Army.
