Tom’s Hardware has noticed that Nvidia's release notes for CUDA 12.8 show Maxwell, Pascal, and Volta GPUs are set to transition to the legacy driver branch and will self-identify as “dead as a dodo.”

Nvidia has released its latest Geforce 425.31 Game Ready driver which not only includes fixes and optimization for Ubisoft's Anno 1800 game, but also enables DXR support for Pascal, Titan V, and non-RTX Turing graphics cards, ranging from GTX 1060 6GB and up.

According to the latest reports, Nvidia is apparently working on an entry-level SKU, named the GT 1030, which should be based on a new 14nm GP108 Pascal GPU.
