Xiaomi's Mi7 is a Snapdragon 845 phone that will sell in millions. The latest leaked pictures have confirmed the notched display, in display fingerprint reader and the rear dual camera setup.

The gaming phone

Xiaomi has another rather interesting phone in the pipeline. This time it is a gaming phone, something to succeed Razer. The phone - codenamed Blackshark - comes with the Snapdragon 845 and 8GB of RAM. The codename could actually even be the product name as apparently Xiaomi owns a company with the same name.

Likely to bring $2.5 billion investment

Xiaomi said it wants its global smartphone component makers to set up base in India, in what is likely to bring as much as $2.5 billion of investment to the South Asian nation while also creating up to 50,000 jobs.

Snapdragon 845, 4000 mAh battery too

The second quarter will be a great period of many new smartphones and most of them will have a Snapdragon 845 SoC if they don’t come from Huawei which has its own chip. The Xiaomi Mi 7 might be one of the first, or the second,  prominent phones to get an in-display fingerprint reader.

With the Mi Gaming Laptop

Xiaomi already has a wide product portfolio, from air purifiers and rice cookers to phones and other smart devices, and since its Mi Notebook Air notebooks have put a lot of pressure on the thin and light notebook market, the new Mi Gaming Laptop could do the same as it comes with some rather impressive specifications and reasonable pricing.

No notch, AI, and Snapdragon 845 SoC

After a plethora of leaks and misleading pictures, Xiaomi has raised the curtain on its new Mi Mix 2S flagship smartphone, revealing the 5.99-inch high end smartphone in all its glory, without the famous notch and with an AI dual-camera setup at the rear.

Xiaomi Dipper codename

It is all set and Xiaomi is launching its first Snapdragon 845 based Mi MIX 2S phone in Shanghai on March 27, the same date when Huawei is presenting its P20 phones. The next in line from Xiaomi is the Mi7.

An alleged hands-on video confirms smaller corner notch

As we draw closer to the official launch date of Xiaomi's Mi Mix 2s flagship smartphone, with both the date and the location confirmed by the company, it does not come as a surprise that more leaks are going to show up online and the latest one shows a small top corner notch for the front camera.

Apparently, the market has room

While many see the US market as more saturated than pepperoni fried in Palm Oil, it appears that the Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi thinks there is plenty of room for another supplier  – after all, the US loves China at the moment.
