AMD's CEO Lisa Su took to the stage to formally introduce the AMD Ryzen 7 series of CPUs. There has been much discussion about the eight cores sixteen threads Ryzen CPU and the fact that it will compete quite well against Intel's Core i7 6950 extreme edition but it looks like the Zen with eight cores with sixteen threads will get really close to the performance of the Core i7 7700K.

Shows 17 different SKUs

A leak showing a full AMD Ryzen CPU lineup has leaked online, showing a total of 17 different SKUs as well as the new naming scheme that suggests AMD might rename its CPU lineup to match those of graphics cards and SSDs.
