During its CES 2021 news conference, all about Intel's new 11th gen Core H-series processors, also gave a preview of the upcoming next-generation Alder Lake, and most importantly, its 11th gen Core S-series desktop CPUs, codename Rocket Lake-S, which, according to Intel, will bring significant UPC improvement, as well as reclaim the gaming performance crown.

Cypress Cove core and double-digit IPC increase
Intel shed some light about its upcoming Rocket Lake-S CPUs that will be launching in Q1 2021, and these will be based on Cypress Cove CPU cores bringing a double-digit IPC increase in performance.
