Electronic Arts has released the newest Battlefield 5 gameplay trailer ahead of Gamescom 2018 which kicks off next week in Cologne, Germany.

Electronic Arts and Bioware have released a new 20-minute gameplay trailer for the upcoming Anthem game, showing more details with some of the features explained by the game's lead producer, Ben Irving.

Says there is no loot boxes or pay-to-power

While Battlefield 5 was a big focus of EA's pre-E3 conference, Bioware's Anthem was also a big part of it, as the game is scheduled to launch on February 22nd on PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4.

Mobile guys now in charge for Frostbite

One of the key guys behind Adreno, Tim Leland, has joined EA and is working under CTO as a  general manager and VP in charge of the Frostbite engine. He will report to the EA’s CTO, Ken Moss. This hire definitely sets a wind of change within Electronic Arts.  

New gameplay trailers, Battle Royale mode in future

As expected, EA/DICE has revealed a lot of details regarding Battlefield 5 at the EA Play 2018 stage at E3 2018 show, including new gameplay trailers, multiplayer and singleplayer modes, as well as the future Battle Royale mode.

Were published as placeholders

EA/DICE has pulled down the earlier released minimum PC requirements for Battlefield 5 which were posted on Origin, saying those were published only as placeholders.

Quite reasonable hardware requirements

To big surprise, EA has released PC minimum system requirements for its freshly announced Battlefield V game and although it is a bit early, it does not appear that you'll need a new hardware compared to the Battlefield 1.

Although there were quite a few teasers earlier, it has now been confirmed that the official Battlefield 5 reveal is set for May 23rd.

I find your lack of cash disturbing 

EA games is starting to hack gamers off by making them pay a premium rate for a game and then hit them with demands for microtransactions.

Nothing but dead space now

Visceral Games, the studio behind games like Battlefield Hardline and Dead Space, is being shut down by EA.
