The Korean overclocker, who goes under the "Phantom" nickname, has managed to push G.SKILL's 256GB (8x32GB) DDR5 R-DIMM kit all the way to DDR5-8400 frequency with CL38-50-50 latency. The feat showed that G.SKILL's DDR5 R-DIMM memory has plenty of overclocking potential even in the octa-channel memory configuration.
As mentioned, the overclocking was done on the latest AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 9985WX processor and ASUS Pro WS WRX90E-SAGE SE motherboard, and it was tested stable under the MemtestPro stress test. You can check out the official submission here.
