Back in March, Intel hinted that it would release several new dual-core and quad-core desktop processors on May 31st. Included in its lineup was the Pentium E6300, which has already made its sneaky way into online retailers in Europe and the US over the weekend.
The processor is based on 45nm Wolfdale architecture and runs at 2.80GHz with a 1066MHz FSB and a 65W TDP envelope. As of now, it can be had for $78 in the US and €99 in Euroland. More stock is expected to arrive very soon.
