We found out that Nvidia's MCP79 chipset, already famous for its announcement as a "can of whoop ass“ will be featured in MSI's notebook VR705.
The notebook in question will be 17-inch, powered by Core 2 Duo processors, although there will also be value versions; it will pack features such as D-Sub, TV Out, PCMCIA, four USB ports, 1394, etc.
The notebook is set for a Q2 launch, probably in June around Computex.
Nvidia is going full throttle forward to show Intel that they’re not little green David in a fight versus big blue Goliath, but rather a moderately sized, quite powerfull Ogre.

VR705 is the name
