Although we did know the starting prices of Microsoft's Surface Laptop 3, the company has now updated the configurator with all options, for both the Surface Laptop 3 13.5-inch and the Surface Laptop 3 15-inch versions. To answer some earlier questions, no, you can't buy a 15-inch version with an Intel CPU.

 
13.5-inch with Intel or 15-inch with AMD

Microsoft has now officially revealed all the juicy details regarding its new Surface Laptop 3 lineup, including the choice of two Intel CPUs for the 13.5-inch version, and two custom AMD APUs for the 15-inch version.

Custom Ryzen 7 3780U APU

Microsoft has just unveiled the Surface Laptop 3 series which will be available in 13.5- and 15-inch sizes, but the big news is that it will be available with AMD Ryzen 7 Surface Edition APU, a custom piece of silicon with Radeon RX 11 Graphics.

As well as a 15-inch screen model

Since Microsoft has scheduled a big Surface event for October 2nd, there were plenty of rumors floating around, suggesting that we might see both a larger 15-inch version of the new Surface Laptop, as well as first-ever one based on AMD hardware.
