15 operators are preparing for 1 Gigabit LTE
Qualcomm executives confirm
It turns out that Telstra in Australia is just the first one to launch the 1 Gigabit LTE network. They are not alone as according to Qualcomm’s EVP there are 15 more operators working on the implementation of the new technology

1 Gbps to come from T-Mobile US in 2017
It is finally happening
Telstra in Australia was the first company to launch both 600 Mbps and 1Gbps networks but it looks like T-Mobile in the US plans to launch 1Gbps in 2017 too.
