The OnePlus Nord 5 gets a 6.83-inch AMOLED with FHD+ resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and 1,800 nits of brightness. It has Gorilla Glass 7i on top of it and also comes with an optical fingerprint sensor below it. OnePlus decided to use Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, pairing it up with 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5X memory and 256GB or 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

OnePlus also improved the camera system, featuring the main 50MP sensor behind a 24mm lens with PDAF and OIS, and an 8MP one behind a 15mm ultra-wide lens. The front camera is a 50MP one as well.

The big surprise is a 6,800mAh battery with 80W wired charging, which is quite a hefty one.

The OnePlus Nord CE5 gets a smaller 6.77-inch AMOLED screen with the same FHD+ resolution but 120Hz refresh rate and 1,430 peak brightness. It also comes with an optical fingerprint sensor, but there are no details about the protection. The Nord CE5 comes with Mediatek's Dimensity 8350 SoC, paired up with 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It does come with a microSD card slot as well.

OnePlus also updated the camera system, using a 50MP main sensor with a 26mm lens and OIS, and an 8MP sensor with an ultrawide lens.

OnePlus Nord CE5 gets an even heftier battery, a 7,100mAh one, which is usually seen on small tablets. OnePlus claims 27 hours of Youtube playback and over 9 hours of gaming, and it supports 80W charging as well.

Both phones come with OxygenOS 15 based on Android 15 and come with the new OnePlus AI suite, which includes Google Gemini-based AI Eraser, AI Summary, AI Reply, and other features.

The OnePlus Nord 5 comes in Marble Sands, Dry Ice, and Phantom Grey colors, and starts at €449 for the 8GB/256GB version. The Nord CE5 gets Black Infinity, Marble Mist, and Nexus Blue color trims and starts at €299 for the 8GB/128GB version.
