Rogers gets the contract
As expected, Rogers Communications, Canada's only GSM provider, has won the contract to supply Apple’s iPhone.
Rogers' chief executive Ted Rogers refused to give out many details on the deal other than to confirm that it has gone through. Rogers ended up with some egg on its face after it announced that it had won the contract more than 10 months ago.
It later had to retract its press release and pretend that it had no definite arrangement to carry the iPhone.
