Radeon RX 7900 XTX and RX 7900 XT come on December 13th

AMD has officially announced its new AMD RDNA 3 architecture as well as its first Radeon RX 7000 series graphics cards at the event in Las Vegas. Packing plenty of performance and feature improvements, the new RX 7900 series graphics cards bring the first chiplet GPU design, DisplayPort 2.1 support, and will be available on December 13th at relatively reasonable price points.

Larger triple-fan cooler and two 8-pin PCIe power

An upcoming Radeon RX 7000 series graphics card has been leaked online and it appears to be a prototype of either the Radeon RX 7900 XT or the XTX, which could both share the same design.

Alongside the Ryzen 3 7300X

A fresh leak from the Geekbench database has revealed two new upcoming AMD Ryzen 7000 series CPUs, the 10-core/20-thread Ryzen 7 7800X and the 4-core/8-thread Ryzen 3 7300X.

Nvidia investigating the issue

After the initial drama about Nvidia's implementation of the 12VHPWR connector on the Geforce RTX 4090, AMD has officially confirmed that its upcoming Radeon RX 7000 series will not use the same connector.

Only the RTX 4080 16GB launches on November 16th

Nvidia has decided to cancel the RTX 4080 12GB and possibly relaunch it under a different name at a later date. This is not a big surprise considering the RTX 4080 12GB raised a lot of eyebrows back when it was announced.

Geforce RTX 4090 and DLSS3 support

Nvidia has released the Geforce 522.25 WHQL Game Ready driver which brings official support for Geforce RTX 4090 graphics card, DLSS3 support, as well as support for CUDA 11.8. The biggest surprise is the rather impressive DirectX 12 performance improvements.

Both Limited Edition and custom designs from other OEMs

Intel has officially announced the general availability of its Arc A770 and Arc A750 desktop graphics cards. Some have already been spotted in retail/e-tail earlier and some have already started to show up in Europe as well.
