AMD has brought a big update to the Apple Mac Pro system by introducing the new Radeon Pro W6000X series graphics cards, with all three SKUs, the Radeon Pro W6900X, Radeon Pro W6800X, and the Radeon Pro W6800X Duo, based on the RNDA2 Navi 21 GPU.

Still no word about MSRP

According to our sources, both the Radeon RX 6600 XT and the Radeon RX 6600 should launch on August 11th. Unfortunately, there is still no word about the suggested retail price, but so far it looks like there should be plenty of cards around.

Shipping in December and starting at $399

Valve has now officially announced its handheld console, called the Steam Deck. Based on a custom AMD APU with Zen 2 CPU and RDNA 2 GPU, the Steam Deck should pack enough punch to run games on a 7-inch screen when it launches in December 2021, with a starting price of $399.

Very Zen and not in a good way

During an interview with Barrons, AMD CEO Lisa Su reiterated that the current chip supply shortages would continue to adversely affect makers' ability to meet consumer demands until the end of 2021.
