Nvidia Geforce RTX 5060 might launch on May 19

Reviews coming the same day as it hits retail

According to fresh information, Nvidia could launch the RTX 5060 (non-TI) on May 19th. The information comes from Nvidia's AIC partners that have received embargo details. Reviews could come on the same day as the card launch.

The Nvidia RTX 5060 is the second card in Nvidia's RTX 5060 series, following the RTX 5060 Ti, which launched this month and came in 16GB and 8GB versions. The Geforce RTX 5060 is based on the same GB206 GPU as the RTX 5060 Ti, but it has been cut down to 3840 CUDA cores and will only be available with 8GB of 28Gbps GDDR7 memory on a 128-bit memory interface.

As detailed by Videocardz.com, buyers will have to rely on Nvidia's own benchmarks before they can actually buy the card, as Nvidia has apparently decided to set the review embargo on the same day as it becomes available.
Nvidia has DLSS as its selling card, and as a direct successor to the Geforce RTX 4060, it brings plenty of performance improvements, all at the same $299 MSRP.
