Microsoft's second-generation laptop tablet Surface Book will no longer receive firmware and driver updates after today.

Earlier today, Microsoft released the first firmware updates of the year for its latest Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book devices. These were automatic updates that were supposed to add battery charging enhancements, a more accurate fingerprint sensor driver, and support for Microsoft’s Surface Pen on the Surface Pro 4 device.
