Dual-screen to ship in Q4
According to Endgadget, MSI will introduce Windows 7 and Android
tablets at Computex in June. In addition, the company will introduce an
impressive dual-screen device sometime in Q4.
The new tablets should ship in Q3 and they will be available in
8.9-inch and 10-inch flavours. The Android versions will be powered by
Nvidia's Tegra 2 SoC, while the Windows versions will feature Atom
CPUs. The dual-screen was delayed due to poor battery life and MSI is
apparently tweaking the Atom-based platform to squeeze out a bit more
endurance.
MSI claims that the pricing will be extremely aggressive and
considering the way Apple is pricing its iPad, keeping this promise
shouldn't be much of a problem for MSI.
