Just won't leave Nokia alone
HTC has made quite a name for itself in the smartphone market, but
there's a chance it will also try to take a slice of the ever growing
netbook market.
In an interview with CNET Asia, HTC CEO Peter Chou said that his outfit
was interested in netbooks and it was looking into the netbook product
category. He added that HTC didn't rush to enter the market because it
wants its products to have unique value, so HTC is probably not
thinking about a dull run of the mill netbook.
HTC's stride to be original might result in an interesting product.
After all, HTC is a rather innovative company which has done well in
every market segment. Nokia recently launched a pricey netbook of its
own, offering it mainly through telco deals.
